Throughout the show, Stand J2 welcomed military delegations, senior defence officials, industry professionals and international visitors, creating opportunities to demonstrate technologies, exchange perspectives and explore future collaboration.

Introducing Telek Systems: Towards Local Manufacturing in Morocco

Marrakech Airshow 2026 marked the launch of Telek Systems in collaboration with BEENET. With manufacturing planned in Morocco, the brand represents a new chapter in the partnership and an important step towards local production, capability development and long-term industrial collaboration.

New Product Unveilings and Portfolio Highlights

SHIBLI unveiled new products and showcased solutions from its expanding portfolio, giving visitors an opportunity to explore:

  • Guardian Series — Cooled and uncooled electro-optical (EO) surveillance systems.
  • Multipurpose Radars — Radar solutions for defence and surveillance applications.
  • SKUA MP PRO 100 Binoculars — Multipurpose thermal binoculars.
  • SKUA NEO — Available in two variants: SKUA NEO 80 and SKUA NEO 50.

Through demonstrations and discussions with the SHIBLI × BEENET team, visitors explored these products and their potential applications in defence and surveillance.

Introducing VESPER Radar to the Moroccan Market

SHIBLI, alongside BEENET, introduced VESPER, its 2D X-band ground-surveillance radar, to the Moroccan market. The system supports a range of surveillance applications, including border monitoring, perimeter security and the detection of personnel, vehicles and vessels.

VESPER offers 360° mechanical azimuth coverage and a maximum detection range of up to 25 km, depending on target characteristics and operating conditions. Its specified detection capabilities include:

  • Walking personnel: Up to 11 km for a radar cross-section (RCS) of 1 m².
  • Vehicles: Up to 18 km for an RCS of 5 m².
  • Large vehicles and vessels: Up to 25 km for an RCS of 30 m² or greater.

Key features include automatic target tracking, automatic north orientation, single- or multiple-sector scanning, clutter mapping and built-in testing. Ethernet connectivity enables integration with control posts and external systems.

With IP66 weather sealing and a specified operating temperature range of −40°C to +55°C, VESPER is designed for outdoor deployment in demanding environments.

Its introduction provided Moroccan defence and security stakeholders with an opportunity to explore the system’s capabilities and discuss their surveillance requirements with the SHIBLI × BEENET team.
