Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a AM Taxation. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in managing taxation matters, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and optimizing the organization’s tax strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations, analytical skills, and the ability to manage relationships with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns of company and directors including income tax sales tax, advance tax and withholding tax.
  • Keeping proper documentation of supporting files.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Manage tax assessments, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Provide guidance to management on tax implications of business decisions, contracts, and investments.
  • Assess tax risks and ensure alignment with legal and financial standards.
  • Prepare and review tax reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting in financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team for the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
  • Generate detailed tax reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors on tax-related matters.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on tax compliance requirements.
  • Review and improve internal tax processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement automation tools or ERP systems to streamline tax-related operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICMA, CA (Finalist) will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
