As a Trainee Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our production floor. This entry-level position is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in managing production processes, controlling inventory, and overseeing manpower to ensure the seamless execution of our production plans.
Responsibilities:
Floor Management:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand and optimize production workflows.
- Monitor and control the manufacturing processes on the production floor.
- Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production bottlenecks.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Inventory Control:
- Track and manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Implement inventory management best practices to minimize waste and stockouts.
Manpower Management:
- Assist in workforce planning and allocation of resources based on production demands.
- Collaborate with human resources to address staffing needs and optimize productivity.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture among production teams.
Production Planning:
- Work closely with the production planning team to understand and execute production schedules.
- Monitor and report on progress against production targets.
- Identify and address deviations from the production plan promptly.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated self-assurance and resourcefulness in devising solutions for a wide array of assembly-related challenges within the fields of Optics, Electronics & Mechanical domain.
- Candidates with expertise in image processing will receive preferential consideration.
- Proficiency in managing and leading small teams.
- Aptitude for thriving in both independent and collaborative work environments.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing of security systems is considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of ESD Sensitivity, EPA, HVAC, Clean Room Standards
- Computer literate and ability to use MS office applications
